Timonthe Maskouly Badji registered with the National Careers Service in June 2013 and was supported by Michael Ngum one of Phoenix Training National Careers Service Advisors to access a Food Hygiene and First Aid Course. Timonthe is currently a University Student who was keen to gain work to support his studies. Timonthe was keen to work in the catering industry as one of his passions was cooking and hoped to combine his passion with work.

Michael was able to help Timonthe access suitable training to fit around his current studies and also discussed current vacancies including a position that was available with TGI Friday’s as a chef.

Timonthe on completion of training was able to secure work at TGI Friday’s in July 2013 as a line chef and was ecstatic with the support he had gained through the National Careers Service.

Timonthe says “ I really appreciate the assistance gained from my advisor to help me gain training and get back into work”.
