“In April 2014, one of our IAG advisors, Michael, visited The Gambia, which is his home country in order to help the local children’s education with donations to their school.
The donations included a range of computer equipment that was provided by Phoenix Training Services. Phoenix Training Services are delighted that equipment which is no longer of use to the company can be used by the children to make a positive impact in their education. With the ever increasing advances in technology, IT skills are essential to today’s children.
The school, Serekunda Lower Basic school, currently teaches around 4000 pupils aged between 8 – 13 years of age. The children and their head teacher, Ms Angela Touray are very grateful for the donations. The school is always happy to accept donations as even stationary and sports equipment are always in great need. Therefore donations of any kind can help the children immensely with their education.
Michael also donated many clothes to the school through a charity that he works with.”
