Perfect Forklift Pass

Our centre recently had a counterbalance learner who performed exceptionally during his training and passed the practical part of his forklift test with zero faults.

This is what his trainer had to say about working with him:

"Daniel’s attitude has been fantastic all week. He comes across as being a bright lad. He has been courteous, cheerful and very positive despite of the impending court case.

His time keeping was first class throughout the duration of the forklift truck training. He completed all the required manoeuvres competently and with great enthusiasm. His mistakes were rare, but when he did make an error, he took the instructor’s critique on board and made sure he didn’t have to be told a second time.

He paid attention during the theory sessions and this was rewarded with a theory test score of 96%.

His practical test was brilliant. In 13 years as an instructor, I can safely say that I have tested fewer than a dozen people who have completed the test with making a single mistake. Daniel didn’t even have a close call, where an instructor might penalise somebody but, instead, gives the trainee the benefit of any doubt. His test was perfect. One of the best I have assessed in my career."
