Our Safe Moving and Handling course will equip you with the essential knowledge for enabling you to lift and carry a load within the workplace both correctly, safely and securely.
It will teach you about the dangers involved with manual handling and what effects this can have on our body, as well help you to understand the limitations of the body when it comes to lifting heavy loads. Due to this, amongst other things, you will also learn in what situations you should decide not to lift something manually and to instead use equipment to aid you. Our course is currently accredited through Highfield.

Food and Hygiene

We are currently able to deliver a course on Food and Hygiene.
By completing this course you will learn the methods that are essential to make sure the preparation of food and the environment that it is prepared in is kept clean and hygienic.
The duration of this course is one day and the course is accredited by Highfield.

Health and Safety in the Workplace

We currently deliver a one day course covering Health and Safety in the workplace, which is accredited through Highflied.
This course teaches you about the dangers that can be found in the workplace, including how to spot them and how to avoid or protect yourself from them. Other things you will learn on the course include looking at the laws and rules involving health and safety, as well as how to read and understand the different health and safety signs that you may find within the workplace.

First Aid Training

We currently deliver two different types of First Aid Training, which are valid for three years from the date of course completion.
These are as follows:
- Emergency First Aid
- Pediatric First Aid
The duration of both courses is one day long and they are accredited by Highfield.
